  Wallingford Adult Education Technology Program

Since 2001, Our Adult Education Program has received Technology Implementation Grants from the State of Connecticut Department of Education.
These grants have enabled us to provide students with an enhanced technology curriculum and two state-of-the-art computer labs.
The Learning Center computer lab is located in the Wallingford railroad station building at 37 Hall Avenue. Our second computer lab is in the Hall Elton building at 43 Hall Avenue.  Both buildings have wireless internet capabilities and laptop computers in addition to the desktop computers in our labs.

Our Technology program provides:

  • Computer Instruction for ABE, GED, ESL , Transition-To-College and High School Credit Diploma students
  • Word processing, Internet, E-Mail, Desktop Publishing, and PowerPoint training
  • Summer ESL Computer Classes
  • Staff Development Training
  • Online paraprofessional certification exams
  • Keyboard appliances, digital cameras and laptop computers for student loan
