WALLINGFORD ADULT EDUCATION
TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM 2012

Computer Instruction schedule – First Floor Lab, Learning Center
1.      Weekly GED preparation classes. Students will use McGraw Hill Interactive GED  software. (Tuesdays, 10:30 AM)
2.      Weekly ABE/EDP class Core Computer Skills. (Wednesdays, 10:30 AM)
3.      Weekly Career Cruising and Resumes.  (Thursdays, 10:30 AM)
4.      Weekly American Living Class computer skills (Wednesdays 9:15 - 10:15 begin Nov 2011)
5.      Workforce Preparation Class (Tuesday and Thursday Evenings, 6:00 - 9:00)

Resumes for Graduates
All students enrolled in Adult Education classes will receive assistance with career exploration, resume and cover letter creation and job search skills.

The following materials are available for student/staff loan:

  • The Writer” Keyboard appliance
  • Portable flash drives (some with pre-loaded free anti-virus and anti-adware programs)
  • Computer Texts available for loan – “Plain & Simple Microsoft Office 2007” in addition to: PC Maintenance and Security, Welcome to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word 2003
  • Laptop with Skype (staff only please)
