Leona Ford is currently teaching ESL and citizenship at the Adult Education Learning Center.

She is a graduate of Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y., where she earned a B.S. in Education. While an undergraduate, she studied Spanish culture and Language at the University of Madrid in Spain. She has a M.A. in Education and a M.A. in Sociology from Southern Connecticut State University. Teaching for many years at Moses Y. Beach school, she developed a love for education and is very happy to be teaching at the Learning Center.

Leona likes to travel, read, garden, and spend time with family and friends.
